For a special New Year’s Eve edition of Weirdo Wednesday, we’re throwing it all the way back to the dawning of the new millennium with this characteristically uncanny performance of “The Anchor Song” by Bjork from December 31, 1999. While the song has become a bit of a tradition around New Year’s Eve for Bjork and her fans, this performance from twenty-six years ago wasn’t just ringing in a new year, new decade, or new century for that matter, but also an entirely new millennium.
