100 years ago today, the great B.B. King was born (9/16/25) near Itta Bena, Mississippi. The big man needs no introduction as he was one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, often called the “King of the Blues.” His expressive guitar playing, shimmering vibrato and charismatic stage presence helped define electric blues.
