35 years ago today (10/15/90) Ride released its debut LP Nowhere, considered by many to be the shoegaze movement’s greatest triumph. With its hazy psychedelic presentation and crossovers to dream-pop, Ride effortlessly helped launch a couple of genres, yet still placed the band alongside My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Lush as pioneers of a sound.
