35 Years Ago Today – The Traveling Willburys (Super Group of All Super Groups) Release Second & Final Album ‘Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3’
35 years ago today (10/29/90), a Roy Orbison less Traveling Wilburys, released their second and “most recent” album Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3. This supergroup of all supergroups featured George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty on an array of songs that stayed true to their 50’s and early 60’s song structures and melodies that proved even these icons have influences. While there was no “Handle With Care” hit on the followup, Vol.3 still holds its charm today. Check out the official video for “Inside Out” off Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3, which clearly sounds like Bob Dylan fronting ELO.
