45 Years Ago Today – The Clash Perform First American Show at Berkeley Community Theatre

45 years ago today (2/7/79), The Clash who have been making raves with their first two albums made their way to the U.S. for the first time and performed at the Berkeley Community Theatre. The opening act was surprisingly bluesman Bo Diddley, but Joe, Mick, Paul and Topper came out firing on this ten-song set. Check it out.
