Ten years ago today (10/21/11), Tom Waits released his seventeenth and most recent studio album Bad As Me. The gravelly-voiced troubadour takes us rolling through his familiar seedy back alleys and gets help from Keith Richards on the stripped down weepy ballad “Last Leaf,” The album churns in all of Waits’ eccentric styles from prior albums and includes “Hell Broke Luce” which may be Waits first overtly political song.
